He married Dorothy O., Mrs. Barton in Pleasant, Iowa, 11 November 1858.

Theodore Dwight Giddings and Dorothy O., Mrs. Barton had the following children:

child 94 i. Florence10 Giddings was born 21 October 1859. Florence died 25 March 1870 in Chicopee Falls, Wisconsin, at 10 years of age.

child 95 ii. Lillian Giddings was born January 1862. Lillian died 29 September 1862 at less than one year of age.

child 96 iii. Lillian Giddings was born 19 October 1863.

child 97 iv. Violetta Giddings was born 27 January 1867.

child 98 v. Jennie Giddings was born 28 October 1869.
