He married Sarah Alcock in Prob. Ipswich, Essex, Ma., 1660. Sarah was born in Kittery, York, Maine 1642. Sarah died 29 December 1711 in Glouchester, Essex, Ma., at 69 years of age.

He was christened in Congregational Church, Ipswich, Essex, Ma., 1639.

John, Lieut. Giddings and Sarah Alcock had the following children:
