45. Linus⁸ Giddings (Niles Joshua⁷, Joshua⁶, Thomas⁵, John, Lieut.⁴, George³, John (Gyddyns)², Michael (Gyddyns)¹) was born in Hartland, Hartford, Ct. 27 March 1789. Linus died 17 June 1871 in Either Venago, Pa Or Warsaw, Ny. @@ Age 82 Yrs, 2 Mos, 20 Days., at 82 years of age.

He married Electa Parson in Windsor, Hartford, Ct., 27 August 1821.

Linus Giddings and Electa Parson had the following children:

+ 55 i. Joseph Cornelius⁹ Giddings was born 2 July 1822.

56 ii. Samuel Stiles Giddings was born in Bankhamsted, Ct. Unable To Locate In Curren 30 October 1824.

+ 57 iii. Theodore Dwight Giddings was born 7 March 1828.

58 iv. Jules Niles, Col. Giddings was born in Bloomfield, Hartford, Ct. 31 May 1830. Jules died 25 April 1866 at 35 years of age. He married Jennie C. Baber in Rumsey, Kentucky, 25 December 1865.
