43. Niles Joshua⁷ Giddings (Joshua⁶, Thomas⁵, John, Lieut.⁴, George³, John (Gyddyns)², Michael (Gyddyns)¹) was born in Hartland, Hartford, Ct. 19 December 1765. Niles died 25 June 1842 in Warsaw, Wyoming, N.y., at 76 years of age.

He married Naomi Hale in 2nd Church, Hartland, Ct., 2 June 1789. Naomi was born in Prob. Hartland, Hartford, Ct. 2 May 1769. Naomi died 24 October 1823 in Warsaw, Wyoming, N.y., at 54 years of age.

Niles Joshua Giddings and Naomi Hale had the following children:

+ 45 i. Linus⁸ Giddings was born 27 March 1789.

+ 46 ii. Lester Giddings was born 28 June 1792.

+ 47 iii. Lydia Giddings was born 2 November 1794.

48 iv. Betsey Giddings was born 24 February 1797. She married Thomas Scott.

+ 49 v. Hiram Hale Giddings was born 21 July 1799.

+ 50 vi. Phebe Giddings was born 1 July 1801.

+ 51 vii. Celinda Giddings was born 10 September 1803.

+ 52 viii. Rachel Giddings was born 30 October 1806.

+ 53 ix. John Giddings was born 14 July 1809.

54 x. Jane Elmira Giddings was born in Warsaw, Wyoming, N.y. 20 September 1812. Jane died 30 August 1815 in Warsaw, Wyoming, N.y., @@ Age 2 Yrs 11 Mos 10 Days., at 2 years of age.
