George was born in Mcduffie Co., Harlem, Georgia (see Delayed Certificate 21 March 1902. George was the son of Samuel "Sam" Walker Mccorkle and Kate Irene Simons. George died 14 November 1974 in Mcduffie Co., Thompson, Georgia, at 72 years of age. His body was interred in Grave, Harlem Memorial Cemetery. She married Robert James Hartman in Wayne Co., Detroit, Mi., 2 March 1929. Robert was born in Liverpool, England 24 August 1906. Robert died 10 October 1981 in Wayne Co., Detroit, Mi., at 75 years of age.
