Note 1. James was apparently called Cady. He went to Wisconsin with his parents in 1853, returned from the Civil War 1865, married in 1866 in Black Wolf, moved 1867 to Owatonna, 1882 or 1883 moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and in 1904, due to poor health, he moved to California, where he died two wees after his arrival. Unable to locate Black Wolf in Wisconsin.
