Lindsey H. Skidmore, retired Detroit detective.

Services for Lindsey H. Skidmore, retired Detroit police detective, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Church of the Redeemer, 18140 Cornell, Southfield. Mr. Skidmore, 71, a former Oak Park resident who had recently moved to Howell, died there Monday in the McPherson Community Health Center. A native Oklahoma, he had lived in the Detroit area 50 years and served 25 years on the Detroit police force before his retirement in 1954. He is survived by a son Jack; two daughters, Mrs. Diane Petchell and Mrs. Sandra Diamond; a brother Claude; a sister, Mrs Catherine Lackey; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Skidmore's body is in the Vasu-Lynch Funeral Home, 4375 North Woodward, Royal Oak. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy.
