Donna Ellsworth Ward, in her The Roots and Genealogy of Israel B. Ellsworth and Mary Ann Gage, indicates the birth of Etta M. Conklin Ellsworth as 27 November 1882, in St Clair, Michigan. Then on her page 169 it indicates her date of birth as 17 September 1883, in Lapeer, Michigan. This is a contrast in dates and NEEDS VERIFICATION. Mrs. Etta M. Beneway, 85, 68 Garden Lane, Edgewater Gardens, died April 6.
A native of Lapeer, Mich., she had liver here eight years, coming from Berkley, Michigan. She was a member and Past Noble Grand of Harland Rebecca Lodge 395 of Berkley.
Survivors include one son, Cecil Beneway of Corbin, Ky. One daughter, Mrs Dorothy Buck of New Port Richey; one grandson, Clarence F. Buck, and one great-grandson, Ronald M. Buck.
Funeral services were held April 9 from the Chapel of North Funeral Home with Rev. Priit Rebane, pastor of the King of Glory Lutheran Church, officiating.
Internment followed din Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
