Item 1.Capt. Southworth 5 Ellis probably accompanied his family to Vermont, but unlike his siblings did not remain there, returning to Middleborough before 14 April 1807. He was admitted to the Middleborough Church 23 August 1807 to which Deborah had been admitted on 12 July 1807. His will was dated 11 March 1840 and proved in May 1841. The children are by his first wife.
