Last Sunday the people for a long distance around assembled at the schoolhouse to attend the funeral of the oldest daughter of T. M. and Belle Giddings, (nee Sutton) a lovely child six years and ten months old, that died of diphtheria after a few days illness. Their second child is now sick with same complaint.
